Description
Learn to play chess with local Chess Master Gabriel Petesch! Learn how the pieces move, check and checkmate, and the best ways to start and finish a game! After a few lessons, students will get a chance to try out their new knowledge as they play chess games against each other.
This camp is for new chess players, younger kids, or anyone who has not played chess in a while. All equipment is provided.
Summer Camp Refund Policies:
- The deadline for refunds for Specialty, Preschool, or Sports camps is 1 week prior to the camp beginning.
- All requests for cancellation and a refund of any camp must be submitted in writing to camps@twpusc.org
- Some of our third-party company providers of programs, classes, and summer camps will send an email to participants ahead of the start date of the program, but not all of them will. If you do not hear from us via phone or email, please assume the program or camp you registered for is running and attend as scheduled.
