Boost your culinary skills and gain confidence in the kitchen with our monthly Kitchen Confidence classes! Each session will focus on different cooking methods and recipes to help you become a more confident home cook. We will also talk about knife skills, meal planning, food shopping, and reducing food waste at home. Our Kitchen Confidence classes will help you save time and money while reaching your nutrition goals!
Class Highlights:
- Skill Building: Learn essential cooking techniques such as knife skills, sauteing, baking, and more.
- Recipe Proficiency: Each month features new recipes to practice and perfect.
- Hands-on Experience: Cook alongside our expert instructors and receive personalized guidance.
- Tasting Session: Enjoy the dishes you create with fellow participants.
- Take-home Materials: Receive recipe handouts and tips to continue cooking at home.
April Session:
Join Chef Taylor Johnson in the EMH Learning Kitchen as we learn about how to steam food without a steamer through the preparation of Salmon with Mushrooms & Beans and an Easy Steamed Veggie Side. A vegetarian cauliflower 'filet' will be available upon request (email culinarymedicine@uwhealth.org).
Register by Monday, March 31st.
