Description
On Saturday, April 26 at 10 am, Ranger Sean will lead a guided walk on our new TRACK Trail Adventure, part of the Kids in Parks program.
Join us to learn more about this new program and meet the Park Ranger who helped design it for Hagg Lake. We'll be talking about the birds and trees of the Pacific Northwest, lichen and more!
The trail begins at the Cedar Grove trailhead, paralleling the Nelson Creek tributary, and ends at the intersection for the Orchard Ridge trailhead. The trail will be a roughly 1.65 mile out and back trek through a mixed evergreen forest and Oak Savanna.
This hike is open to all ages able to hike the easy-moderate route.
Participating youth can track their adventures and earn fun prizes! Learn more about the TRACK Trails program at kidsinparks.com/location/scoggins-valley-park
Registration is $15 per participant. Youth under 12 are $7.
A parking pass will be provided for those in attendance. Already have a parking pass? Awesome! Thank you for supporting Washington County Parks and helping us maintain operations at Hagg Lake.
Please note, the TRACK Trails program is a free, self-guided adventure, which participants can hike at any time. This Ranger Walk is a guided introduction and provides participants an ability to meet and interact with our park rangers in a small group setting.
