Description
Explore the Winter Forest! Experience our region's rainforest climate at its best during this guided hike to jump start the new year. The walk will focus on the vibrancy of a Pacific Northwest temperate forest in the winter season. Master Naturalist and Certified Interpretative Guide Natalie DaSilva will identify and describe the unique characteristics of Hagg Lake's lichens, moss, ferns, and fungi.
All ages welcome. Hikes are designed for all experience levels, are approximately 2 miles and last 2 hours.
Please come prepared for varied weather with rain gear, sturdy shoes, water, and snacks.
$10.00 registration which includes parking pass. Registration closes on January 4, 2024 and 12:00 PM PST
Courses are not eligible for refunds, unless cancelled or rescheduled by WashCo Parks.
