Description

Hoppin’ Hounds Event – Franklin Recreation Center

Dog-gone it, don’t leave your pup out of the fun this Easter! All pups and their human companions are invited to this “Eggciting” Easter Egg Hunt for dogs! To ensure every pup enjoys an intimidation free egg hunt, we are offering two times –

EGG HUNT TIMES AND CHECK-IN
o Dogs Under 30lb.
• 2:00 p.m. Check-in tables open
• 2:30 p.m. Egg Hunt Begins

o Dogs Over 30lb.
• 2:30 p.m. Check-in tables open
• 3:15 p.m. Egg Hunt Begins

All pet-loving friends and families are welcome to join too! After the egg hunt, be sure to visit with our pet-friendly vendors, the doggy and human food trucks, and get you and your pup’s photo with the Easter Bunny! All dogs must have current vaccinations, be leashed and under control of an adult handler at all times. Proceeds from the egg hunt will go to benefit the Williamson County Animal Center.

NOTE: Only register the Adult Handler(s)

Please note that this is a dog-specific event and each dog must be accompanied by an adult handler (age 18+).

DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

**Important: AT CHECK-IN, you MUST show either a CURRENT RABIES TAG or rabies certificate (RECEIPT) LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD for EACH dog in order to participate, unless your dog has a rabies exemption certificate from your veterinarian. In that case, please bring the rabies exemption certificate as your proof. Dogs will not be admitted without the required documentation. (While a current rabies TAG or CERTIFICATE is preferred, if you have lost those, a printout from your vet clinic showing the date your dog was vaccinated for rabies will suffice.) This is a State law and there will be no exceptions.

Only handlers (must be 18 or older) and dogs are allowed on field during Egg Hunt. One dog per handler. Spectators must stay outside the designated Egg Hunt Field.

Dogs should wear a collar or harness with ID and rabies tags attached. Leashes may not be removed at any point during the Hoppin’ Hounds Event. No female dogs in heat or puppies under 6 months old.

Any dog who exhibits any sign of aggression or who is not under the voice control of his handler must immediately leave the premises.
