Description

In this four-week session, young artists will experiment with a variety of creative mediums, sparking curiosity and imagination. We’ll create vibrant batik wall hangings inspired by Anna Blatman, paint large-scale Easter Bunnies, and explore the exciting world of Gelli plate printing to produce unique textured prints. This hands-on class encourages artistic expression, discovery, and the joy of creating!

Weehawken's youth art classes aim to nurture:

* This class is a drop-off class. Ms. Claudia meets her students at the elementary school preschool/kindergarten gate at 3:00pm and escorts them to the Cora classroom. Parents who drop off their children can meet the group at the Cora classroom at 3:15pm.

* Should your child have any special needs please contact claudia@weehawkenarts.org before class to ensure that your child will have a fun time.

* Voyager add-on option: Voyager teachers will meet and escort students after art class and provide after school care from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Parents pick up their children at Voyager at 280 N Cora Street.

Cost:$75 for the 5 week session

OR $95 with the Voyager add-on option. Voyager teachers meet students after art class and provide after school care from 4:30pm-5:30pm at Voyager. Parents pick up their children at Voyager at 280N Cora Street. Type Yes as Activation Code during checkout.
