T.R.A.C.K.S. Activity Center (TAC)

The T.R.A.C.K.S. Activity Center (TAC) is an after-school program for middle school teens who attend El Roble Intermediate School. A parent or guardian must register participants for FREE. The TAC is a fun and safe environment to hang with peers and staff after-school, while participating in various activities, field trips, and events.
- Show respect for all staff, students, volunteers, equipment, and yourself.
- Keep your hands and items to yourself.
- No profanity and/or bad behavior.
- No running or screaming in the building.
- No form of rough playing will be allowed.
- Students must be within TAC boundaries at all times.
- El Roble Code of Conduct and dress code will be enforced.
- The City of Claremont, CUSD, Staff, and volunteers are not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen items.
- Take pride in your teen center.
ATTENDANCE / ARRIVAL REQUIREMENTS
- Participants must sign in within the first 10 minutes of the release bell ringing.
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, the TAC opens at 2:10pm, and on Wednesdays the TAC open at 1:10pm.
- If students arrive after the first 10 minutes of the program, they must provide a pass from a teacher or faculty member to sign in. Any registered participant may sign in at any time, as long as they provide a pass.
- Staff reserve the right to suspend a participant for the remainder of the day for violating TAC rules or staff instructions. Parents will be notified if this occurs.
TAC BEHAVIOR CONSEQUENCE SYSTEM
TAC Staff will enforce the consequence system for any breach of the TAC Code of Conduct and/or any poor decisions and attitudes. Consequences may strengthen if the behavior offense is severe enough and will be determined by TAC staff.
- 1st Offense: A verbal warning and written log in the Behavior Log Book (parent will be called if deemed appropriate).
- 2nd Offense: Parent call and written log in the Behavior Log Book. Behavior Contract will be developed for the student to follow.
- 3rd Offense: Suspension from TAC (1-5 days case by case) & written log in the Behavior Log Book.
- 4th Offense: Meeting with parents, student(s), and TAC staff.
- 5th Offense: Expulsion from the TAC program for the remainder of the school year.
