Privacy and Security Policy

The Northbrook Park District is committed to maintaining a user's online privacy in compliance with all laws. This Privacy and Security Policy outlines the types of information the Park District gathers when users visit the Park District's website, as well as some of the steps we take to safeguard it.

Information Collection

-The Park District does not collect personal information about you when you visit the Park District website unless you choose to provide that information to the Park District.
-The Park District collects limited non-personally identifying information your browser makes available automatically whenever you visit a website. This information includes the Internet address of your computer or network, the date, time and page you visited on the Park District site, your browser and operating system, and the referring page (the last webpage you visited before clicking on a link to our site).

User's Online Feedback
Information volunteered by users through the Park District's optional online contact us form is used to help us enhance our services and may be shared with Northbrook Park District employees and contractors for that purpose.

The Park District uses cookies when providing online services such as online payments. The Park District uses cookies to improve the quality of our services and not to track any personal information. Site Security
The Park District monitors network traffic to identify unauthorized attempts to upload or change information or to otherwise cause damage to the site. Anyone using this website expressly consents to such monitoring. The Park District takes appropriate security measures to protect unauthorized access, alteration or destruction of data. The Northbrook Park District uses link and search capabilities to navigate publicly available information from dozens of agencies that are not part of the Park District website and over whom the District exercises no control. The privacy policies and procedures described here do not necessarily apply to those sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their data collection and distribution policies.
