The Woodridge District takes seriously your rights to privacy and security. This privacy policy has been compiled to better service our patrons on how their personal identifiable information is being used online and throughout the Park District. The Park District may collect personal identifiable information such as your name, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address and other non-statutory protected data. This information is used for the purpose of facilitating a relationship, connection or business transactions in particular through our registration system. The Woodridge Park District needs this information for the enrollment of a participant in a recreational program and to be able to contact you, if necessary. The District may generate informational correspondence using e-mail or postal mail or for transactional communications. If you do not provide the information, the participant may not be able to enroll in the requested program. The information you provide may be released to: persons authorized to have access to the information under state or federal law; persons authorized by court order to have access to the information; persons to whom you have given written consent to have access to the information; and all individuals employed by or entities under contract with the Woodridge Park District who have a need and a right to know the information in order to administer, manage and improve Park District programming. The District may disclose personally identifiable information to third parties when it is required to complete a customer-requested transaction or to provide service. The District does not sell or rent or otherwise distribute user information, including electronic mail addresses, to any outside company or organization, unless legally required to do so.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that whatever information you provide will be maintained in a secure environment. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us and you provide such information at your own risk. As such, the Woodridge Park District is not responsible for any breach of security or for the actions of any person or entity other than the Park District.
