Experience a week at beautiful YMCA Camp Whittle. Campers, ages 7-17, will make real connections and lifelong friendships, capture authentic moments that only nature can provide, and create unforgettable stories that will shape their character and build their confidence.
Summer Sleep Away Camp is provided in weekly sessions, packed full of excitement. Campers arrive each Sunday and depart the following Saturday. Campers will be in age-based cabin groups of no more than 10 kids and 2 counselors.
Campers will experience the great outdoors at our ACA-accredited YMCA Camp Whittle, located approximately two miles away from beautiful Big Bear Lake. Activities include hiking, a climbing course, swimming, field games, arts & crafts, and so much more!
Bus drop off and pick up will happen at the Ann & Steve Hinchliffe San Pedro & Peninsula YMCA.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event a camper needs to cancel registration, camper will need to send written notice of cancellation to the Branch Camp Leader 21 days prior to the 1st day of camp. If written notification is received on or before 6/15/2025, a full refund minus the $150 non-refundable deposit will be provided. Cancellations within 21 days of the 1st day of camp will only receive a full refund minus the non-refundable deposit if the vacated spot is filled by another participant (from the waitlist, late registration, etc.).
A refund cannot be provided for participants already at camp and being sent home early for any reason.
