It is provided to assist You in making legitimate reservations and registrations for County services, and for no other purpose. This Website is offered to You conditioned upon Your acceptance, without modification, of all the terms, conditions, and notices set forth below and those incorporated by reference herein.

By accessing this Website You are agreeing to these Terms of Use, which shall remain in effect so long as You use, access, or benefit from any of the services, content, or information this Website provides.

By accessing this Website You warrant specifically that: (1) You have legal authority to enter into a binding legal obligation; (2) You will use this Website only to make legitimate reservations and registrations, and for no other purpose; and (3) all information You supply on this Website is true, accurate, current, and complete.

The Intellectual Property, Prohibited Activities, Liability, General, and Controlling Law sections herein shall survive termination.

The County recognizes the public's concerns regarding privacy. The County's Privacy and Security Notice for this Website is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use.

3. REFUNDS, TRANSFERS, CANCELLATIONS

If You make a reservation, registration, or payment through this Website, You are also agreeing to the County's Terms of Payment for this Website, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms of Use, if applicable.

4. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise noted, this website and all information and content therein, including without limitation, all text, programs, products, processes, technology, information, content and other materials, together with all copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual property therein (collectively, Contents), and the compilation (meaning the collection, arrangement, and assembly) are owned by us, or by third parties who have licensed such Contents to us. Such Contents are protected by U.S. and International copyright laws. County, on behalf of itself and its licensors, expressly reserve all rights, including without limitation, intellectual property rights, in this Website and all Contents and compilation of Contents from time to time available on this Website. Access to this Website does not confer, and shall not be considered as conferring, upon you or any other user of the Website any license to other rights to the Website, the Contents or the compilation of Contents.

5. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You agree not to otherwise modify, copy, distribute, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, license, create derivative works from, transfer, or sell or re-sell any intellectual property, information, content, or services obtained from or through this Website.

In addition, You agree not to: (1) make any speculative, false, or fraudulent reservation or registration services; (2) access, monitor, or copy any content or information of this Website using any robot, spider, scraper, or other automated means or any manual process for any purpose without the County's express written permission; or (3) take any action that imposes, or may impose, in the County's discretion, an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our infrastructure.

If Your reservation or registration shows signs of fraud, abuse, or suspicious activity, the County may cancel any reservation or registration associated with You. If You conduct any fraudulent activity related to this Website, the County reserves the right to take any necessary legal action and You may be liable for monetary losses to the County, including litigation costs and damages.

6. LIABILITY

The County provides this website "as is" and disclaims any and all warranties, express or implied, to the extent permissible in law or equity. The County does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or error free nature of any of the Content on this Website.

The County shall not be liable and cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, injury or any incidental, indirect, special, consequential, or economic loss or damage (including loss of opportunity, exemplary, or punitive damages) whether to person or property and whether arising from default, negligence, misconduct or otherwise by the County, its employees, agents or contractors in connection with this Website or the Content thereon.

You agree to indemnify the County against liability for, or in respect of, any claims, demands, actions, costs, expenses, losses and damages arising out of or in connection with or as a consequence of any of Your acts or omissions in connection with this Website.

We reserve the right at all times to change, amend, add or remove any of the above terms without prior notice. If one or more of the conditions outlined in these Terms of Use should be or become invalid, the remaining conditions will continue to be valid and apply.

9. CONTROLLING LAW

By using this website, You agree that any and all disputes shall be governed by the law of the State of California. You further consent to venue and jurisdiction of the Los Angeles County Superior Courts for any and all disputes between You and the County related to this Website, except those having exclusive federal jurisdiction for which you consent to venue and jurisdiction to the federal courts within the County of Los Angeles, California.

1. CONDITIONS of PAYMENT

These additional terms of the Internet/online payment (“ePay”) service offered to you by the County of Los Angeles ("County", "we", "us", "our", or "ourselves") also apply with respect to your payment on County's Website. We will NOT accept payments through this Website from any party/individual who is not an authorized user of the credit/debit card or eCheck account used for the payment of the fees or who is making a payment that does not support the minimum security requirements. By submitting a payment through this Website, you certify that you meet these and all other requirements set forth in these Terms of Payment. Capitalized terms used in these Terms of Payment shall have the meanings given to such terms in the Terms of Payment and/or Privacy and Security Notice, as applicable.

2. CREDIT/DEBIT CARD PAYMENTS

Credit/debit card payments are limited to cards with the Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express logos. Your monthly card statement will reflect your payment amount, in its entirety, as one payment. The total payment will be labeled as "LA County Activities".

3. OTHER PAYMENT METHODS

Please note that, in addition to making a payment through this Site, payments to County can also be made by mail or in person.

• Payments in person should be made at the designated administration, reservation, or cashiering office location. Please contact the above Central Reservation Office for the exact address.

4. E-CHECK PAYMENT

eCheck payments are limited to U.S. business/corporate or personal checking accounts drawn on U.S. based financial institutions. Your payment, in its entirety, will appear on your billing statement as one payment and will be labeled "LA County Activities".

5. PAYMENT DATE

Your payment is deemed received after all of the following occurs: (1) you select the "SUBMIT" button for your payment, (2) we confirm the transaction, and (3) we provide you with a confirmation number shown on the computer screen and/or via email.

6. TRANSACTION RECEIPT

A payment is not deemed made until we provide you with an online confirmation number for such payment. You can email, download, or print a copy of the receipt page with your confirmation number for your records. In addition, you will receive an email confirmation of your payment if an email address has been provided. It is recommended that you check your SPAM folder for our email. You can add the DoNotReply@Reservations.Lacounty.Gov or DoNotReply@Notifications.Lacounty.Gov

domain names to your Safe Senders List to ensure that you continue to receive our email in the future. We also recommend that you keep the confirmation number available for reference to assist County personnel should you have questions related to your online payment.

7. YOUR REPRESENTATIONS

In addition to the representations in the Terms of Payment, you represent to us that: (1) the information you provide in connection with this ePay service will be accurate; (2) you have the right to authorize us to obtain payment from the account designated in your instruction; and (3) no other person's authorization or action is needed to approve our creation and processing of the payment against your designated account.

8. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

Any notice or other type of information that is provided to you in connection with this ePay service, such as these Terms of Payment, the Privacy and Security Notice, payment confirmations, amendments, and other payment information ("Communications"), may be sent to you electronically (i.e., by posting the information at this Site or by sending it to your email address). We will not be obligated to provide any Communications to you in printed paper form. If you do not agree to receive electronic Communications, you agree not to use this ePay service and should select the "CANCEL" button now.

9. MINIMUM SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

In order to use this ePay service, you will need a [device with a] working Internet connection. This service may not function properly when using Web-enabled television[s], old[er] mobile devices, or other similar connections. Your Internet browsers must also support Transport Layer Security (TLS) version 1.1 or greater. County’s recommended Internet browsers is the current version and one version older.

10. DISCLAIMERS LIMITATIONS of LIABILITY

We offer this ePay service as a courtesy only. In addition to the disclaimer of warranties included in these Terms of Payment, we assume no obligation to ensure that it is available for your use. There may be times when this service is unavailable due to system maintenance, outages, or unavailability of Internet services.

In addition to the limitation of liability included in these Terms of Payment, you agree that the County of Los Angeles shall NOT be subject to any liability related to the payment of fees for services using this ePay service, including any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by you for such services.

11. AMENDMENTS/TERMINATIONS

We reserve the right to amend (e.g., add, delete, or change) these Terms of Payment and/or this ePay service, and we may terminate your use of this service at any time, without cause or prior notice.

12. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms of Payment, Terms of Use, together with the Privacy and Security Notice, constitute the entire agreement between County and you with respect to this ePay service.

Please check all provided and selected information for accuracy. No change to your payment can be made once it has been submitted.

Your monthly statement will reflect your payment amount, in its entirety, as one payment. The total payment will be labeled as "LA County Activities" for credit/debit cards and eCheck payments.
